Ambala, August 13

Aam Aadmi Party leader and MP Sanjay Singh today said the BJP government had failed to deliver its promises and the time was ripe to bring a change in Haryana.

Addressing a Badlav Jansabha in Ambala City, Sanjay Singh said, “The BJP has duped all sections of society. The BJP government promised employment, reducing inflation and doubling farmers’ income, but on the ground did nothing. The BJP has been continuously lying to the people in the state and that is why I say that the full form of the BJP is ‘Bhartiya Jhutha Party’. The double engine government has been closing government schools in Haryana, while the Kejriwal government has opened schools to provide better education in Delhi.”

“Arvind Kejriwal is in jail because he started new politics in the country and gave free education, health facilities, electricity and bus service to the people of Delhi. Similarly, Manish Sisodia and Satyender Jain were sent behind bars. I was also in jail for six months, but I want to tell the BJP that even if we are kept behind bars for the entire life, we will not bow down. Soon, Arvind Kejriwal will be out of the jail and start election campaigning in Haryana. People of the state have decided to form the AAP government in the upcoming Assembly elections in Haryana,” he added.

Sanjay Singh criticised the BJP government over the issues of Agniveer scheme and said, “We will get the Agniveer scheme scrapped and restore the old recruitment system in the Army. Like Delhi and Punjab, we have to bring a change in Haryana for development and prosperity.”

In his address, AAP state chief Sushil Gupta, said, “AAP has been trying to change the system and develop and educate the country. The other political parties failed to handle schools, hospitals, electricity and even make adequate arrangements to prevent floods. The government schools are getting closed and over 8,000 posts of teachers are lying vacant. The schools lack infrastructure here, while the Kejriwal government in Delhi is providing quality education and infrastructure in government schools.”

“Unemployed youth are getting attracted to crime and drugs. In Haryana, it is easy to get minor sharp shooters. Politicians, policemen and businessmen are being killed. The residents of Haryana are being harassed and looted in the name of Family ID, property ID and various other portals. The players of Haryana bring the maximum medals for the country, but the BJP government doesn’t give adequate budget for sports infrastructure in the state”, he added.

AAP district chief Karanveer Laut, and several other local BJP leaders were present during the programme.
