BJP goes into huddle to discuss Delhi poll strategy
Buoyed by its historic hat-trick in the state, the BJP is aiming to replicate Haryana win in the upcoming Delhi Assembly poll.
The BJP state top brass, including CM Nayab Singh Saini and BJP chief Mohan Lal Badoli, besides the district presidents, held a brainstorming session here today to chalk out a strategy for the Delhi and municipal poll.
"Over 100 senior leaders, besides thousands of BJP workers, will hit the campaign trail in Delhi to throw the corrupt AAP regime out of power," Badoli said.
A blueprint for assigning duties to senior leaders in the Delhi poll was discussed at the meeting. "Already 22 senior leaders have been assigned poll duties in Delhi and rest of the leaders would hit the campaign trail soon," he said.
It was highlighted that the ongoing membership drive of the BJP, under which over 43 lakh members had already been enrolled, would stand the party in good stead in the Delhi and MC poll as the party cadre could be used in the twin polls.
Badoli said the BJP was set to form 'triple-engine' government after its win.
