The BJP held a state-level meeting in Kurukshetra to finalise the strategy for the civic elections. During the meeting, the CM said, “Winning the municipal elections is important for the development of the state. Over the past 10 years, the BJP government has done great work. The schemes and policies of the government have to be taken to the public. The party will include their suggestions in the Sankalp Patra, for which a committee has been constituted.”

BJP state president Mohan Lal Badoli said the elections would be contested on local issues. The party would propagate the schemes and development works being carried out by the 'double-engine' government through pamphlets and form the 'triple-engine' government in Haryana.

“The workers are disciplined and full of enthusiasm. The public has given the BJP a chance to serve for the third time by giving it an absolute majority in the Assembly elections. Now in the civic elections, the public will choose the 'triple-engine' government for non-stop development of the region,” he said.

Speaking to mediapersons, Badoli said the party had prepared its election agenda, and 35 issues of the state and Central governments had been identified. All the schemes and policies of the 'double-engine' government would be taken to every house through pamphlets.
