Former Minister of State Aseem Goel appealed to the shopkeepers and general public in Ambala City to promote indigenous products and play a crucial role in achieving the target of making India a developed nation by 2047. He flagged off an “Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan Rath Yatra” from Manav Chowk today.
BJP district chief Mandeep Rana and several other BJP leaders were present on the occasion. The BJP leaders visited the markets and urged shopkeepers to adopt Swadeshi, promote Swadeshi and establish special counters for these products in their shops.
While interacting with the shopkeepers, Goel said, “Self-reliant India is not just a campaign, but a pledge for the country’s economic independence. When we adopt indigenous products, we directly strengthen the country’s small industries, farmers, artisans and local businesses. This campaign is a major step towards giving global recognition to our local production. It is also a major step towards realising the resolve for a developed India and a self-reliant India.”
“Under the leadership of Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and BJP state president Mohan Lal, various programmes are being organised under the Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan. All the citizens should take a pledge to adopt Swadeshi products and spread this message to every household,” he added.
