BJP state chief Mohan Lal Badoli today said that the BJP was celebrating the birth centenary of former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee as Good Governance Day at the booth level in the entire state.
PM Narendra Modi and CM Nayab Singh Saini were working to fulfil the dream of a developed India that Vajpayee had envisioned, he claimed.
Programmes were organised across the state on the occasion. Badoli paid homage to Bharat Ratna Vajpayee by offering flowers at his portrait during a programme in Sonepat. He said good governance was established in the BJP government led by Vajpayee and the culture of change in the system had begun.
He said Vajpayee was a source of inspiration for all and the BJP was moving forward on the path shown by him. He also visited an exhibition based on the life of Vajpayee at Chhotu Ram Dharamshala on Gohana road.
Talking to the media, Badoli claimed that Haryana had developed rapidly in the last 10 years. The BJP government had benefitted every section of society by changing the system and CM Saini was working for the uplift of every section without any discrimination, he stated.
Taking a jibe at the Congress, Badoli alleged that the party was doing politics by sitting in five-star hotels, while the BJP was working at the grassroots level.
MLA Nikhil Madaan and BJP district president Jasbeer Dodwa, among other leaders, were present at the programme.
