Education Minister and BJP's Haryana election in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan on Sunday claimed the party will form government for the third consecutive term in Haryana.

“We are contesting the election under the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini. We will score a hat-trick,” said Pradhan. He was interacting with mediapersons on the sidelines of the workers’ meeting here.

During the meeting, Pradhan discussed the BJP’s election campaign with party leaders and workers. He exhorted the party cadre to work at grassroots level to ensure victory of the candidates in the elections.

Pradhan emphasised the party's focus on development and good governance in Haryana. He also visited the residence of former Mayor Renu Bala Gupta, who had earlier expressed anger against the party over denial of ticket. However, she has already made it clear that she will remain in the party and not contest as an Independent.

Highlighting the party’s efforts to work for farmers and the public, Pradhan said the BJP government was the first in Haryana to provide minimum support price for all crops and offer government jobs without favouritism or bribes.

About the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Haryana, he said the PM would hold rallies in different parts of the state.

Criticising Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over his remarks on reservation during a programme in the US, Pradhan said the real face of the Congress had been exposed. “If the Congress comes to power, it will abolish reservation. The remarks reflect its anti-Dalit mentality,” said Pradhan.

When asked about AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal statement on resigning from the Delhi CM’s post, Pradhan said, "I have not seen Kejriwal's statement, but in the next elections, people will surely vote him out as he has failed to deliver on his promises."

On the absence of former CM and minister Manohar Lal Khattar from the PM's rally, Pradhan said, “Manohar Lal is a senior leader of our party. He has managed the state's affairs for a long time and is now handling national responsibilities. He is currently engaged in a cleanliness drive, and there is no discontent."
