BJP working to divide country: Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann

Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann today slammed the BJP government in Haryana over lack of job opportunities in the state, and sought support for AAP in the Assembly polls in the state.
Addressing a ‘Badlav Jansabha’ in Pehowa of Kurukshetra, the Punjab CM said: “A lot can be done for society if the intentions of the leaders are clean. The Punjab Government has given 43,000 jobs on merit, without any bribe, but the Haryana Government is sending youngsters to war-torn countries, which is a matter of shame.”
Punjab had given opportunities to the Congress and the SAD-BJP repeatedly, and they did nothing for Punjab. Similarly, Haryana gave opportunities to the Congress, INLD and the BJP and the results were same. But in 2022, Punjab gave an opportunity to AAP, and now we are taking the ‘hisaab’ of the corrupt practices that prevailed in the previous governments and the money looted from the people. The corrupt people are being sent to jail in Punjab.
“Arvind Kejriwal has done the politics of work. No other party talks about building hospitals, free power, and delivering ration at the doorstep. The BJP has been working to divide the country while the AAP and Arvind Kejriwal have been working to unite the country”, he added.
Mann addressed another gathering during a ‘Baldlav rally’ at Ballah village in Karnal, where he exhorted people to give a chance to AAP for overall development of the state. He promised to fulfill the five guarantees of the Delhi CM. — TNS
