Kurukshetra University Vice-Chancellor Prof Som Nath Sachdeva released a book titled “Navigating the New Frontier: Exploring Innovative Service in Academic Libraries”.

The book is edited by research scholars of KU Library and Information Science Department, Sukhbir Singh and Neha Garg.

Vice-Chancellor Prof Sachdeva said that the book would make the readers aware of the new techniques of Library and Information Science.

Through this book, faculty members, researchers and students of Library Science Department would increase their knowledge about assistant technology, e-learning, web based library services, cloud computing and Artificial Intelligence, he said. The editors of the book, Sukhbir Singh and Neha Garg, said Dr Narendra Kumar, Deputy Chairman of GJU, Hisar, Dr Priya Sharma of KU’s Economics Department and Dr Dharampal, Regional Director of Indira Gandhi National Open University Haryana contributed in the editing of the book.

On this occasion, Registrar Prof Sanjeev Sharma and Dr Sanjeev Dhiman were also present.
