Boy killed, several hurt as private school vehicle overturns near Jhajjar

A student was killed and several others injured as a private school vehicle overturned reportedly due to tyre burst near Jhajjar on Friday.

The vehicle of a private school located at Birdhana village of Jhajjar district was going to drop schoolchildren at their homes after the school was over on Friday afternoon.

The vehicle overturned near Gudha village. Residents and passers-by rushed to help and took the injured children to a private hospital.

One of the students, identified as Hitansh of Class III, was declared dead by doctors. The other children were given treatment.

The police registered a case and took the body of the child to the local Civil Hospital for a post-mortem examination. Further investigation was on till the time of filing the report.
