Briefly: One killed, one injured on NH

A man was killed and another was injured when their motorcycle was hit by a car near Karhera village on the Yamunanagar-Panchkula national highway. The deceased has been identified as Monu of Shimlana village of Saharanpur district (Uttar Pradesh). On the complaint of Manoj Kumar of Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh, a case was registered against unidentified car driver at the Sadar police station, Yamunanagar. The complainant said he and Monu were going to Kanhari village of Yamunanagar district. He said when they reached near Karhera village, their motorcycle was hit by a car. He further said they were taken to Civil Hospital, Yamuanagar, where Monu was declared dead.
