BSP leader murder: 2 accused nabbed after exchange of fire
In a joint operation, the Special Task Force, Haryana, and CIA-1 unit of the Ambala police have nabbed two accused involved in the murder case of BSP leader Harbilas Rajjumajra, after a brief exchange of fire on Friday.
The suspects, identified as Shivam and Gagan, were reportedly among the shooters involved in the case.
Shivam suffered two bullet injuries in the leg and was rushed to CHC, Naraingarh, from where he was referred to the Civil Hospital, Ambala Cantonment, and then, shifted to the Civil Hospital at Ambala City.
As per information, the police teams spotted the accused in the jungle area of Laha village. The accused started firing at the police, and in retaliatory fire, Shivam suffered bullet injuries. His condition is stated to be fine.
The second accused, Gagan, was arrested. The police have seized an illegal weapon and two magazines from their possession.
SHO of Naraingarh Police Station Lalit Kumar said, “The accused were nabbed from the jungle area of Laha village after a brief exchange of fire. Further investigation is on.”
The BSP leader was killed, while his friend suffered a bullet injury on January 24.
