Hisar, February 25
National president of All India State Employees Confederation (AISEC), ML Sehgal, said the Budget presented by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has disappointed farmers, labourers, employees and unemployed youth.
In a statement issued here on Saturday, Sehgal said the CM had kept silent on the issues such as the restoration of old pension, payment of 18 months’ outstanding dearness allowance, confirmation of raw employees working under Skill Employment Corporation and filling of vacant posts in various departments of the state government in his Budget speech.
The AISEC president said for the last 15 days, Internet services had been shut in seven districts of the state, adversely impacting the studies of students as examinations were going on in schools and colleges. Besides, he said the general public was also facing a lot of inconvenience and the business was also getting affected in the absence of Internet facilities.
He said the farmers of Punjab and Haryana wanted to go to Delhi to get their demands resolved peacefully, but the state government was adopting repressive policies to stop them.
