Mushrooming illegal colonies a bane

The so called ‘colonisers’, in Narwana, usually buy cheap land on the outskirts of the city, chalkout small commercial and residential plots and sell it to people quickly at affordable rates. Politicians and government officials collude with them in this illegal trade. With the passage of time, houses and shops come up with proper electricity and water connections. Suddenly, the DTP staff starts demolishing these constructions. The question arises as to why nobody stopped them initially so that innocent people could be saved from this harassment?

Garbage not being lifted from houses in Y’nagar

The scheme of door-to-door garbage collection had been launched in the city under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Now, since February 2021 the said facility has been discontinued in Chopra Garden, B Block, Gali No. 3 behind Shiv Shakti School, Ward 22. The matter has been mailed to all designated authorities and complain centres (toll free) concerned, but in vain. Residents cannot keep the garbage at home for long as it will become hazardous to health. The department should act promptly and solve the matter.
