Bullets fired at Kurukshetra animal fair; no one hurt

Bullets were fired during an animal fair at Keshav Park (Theme Park) in Kurukshetra on Friday. No injuries or casualties were reported in the incident.

According to initial reports, an animal trader, allegedly upset with the results of a competition between animals, fired shots before fleeing the scene. Police have yet to confirm further details.

Upon receiving information, officials from Krishna Gate Police Station arrived at the site to begin an investigation.

ASI Malkit Singh said, “We got information that bullets have been fired at the animal fair, following which we reached the spot and started the investigation. No casualty or injuries have been reported. CCTV footage is being examined and statements have been recorded. The exact reason will be revealed during the investigation.”
