They also demanded installation of CCTV cameras on the Chowk so that such incident was not repeated in future.

They also demanded permission to install statue of Raja Mihir Bhoj on this chowk keeping in view their earlier request to the administration seeking permission for installation of statue. SDM assured of appropriate action.

Amit Kumar Arya, district president of Gujar Yuva unit, said someone wanted to vitiate the atmosphere and provoke Gurjars, but despite provocation their youth kept restraint and excercised their right to protest peacefully.

He said if such an incident was repeated and elements behind it were not booked within a week they would be forced to launch an agitation.
