Facing a shortage of blood in Rohtak district in wake of the ongoing lockdown, various local social and religious organisations have joined hands to conduct blood donation camps

“Six blood donation camps have been organised during the lockdown and we have been able to procure more than 450 units of blood,” says Manjul Paliwal, convener of the NGO Coordination Committee–Covid-19

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
