Campus notes: CBLU professor secures patent

Bhiwani: Prof Ravi Prakash of Chaudhary Bansi Lal University (CBLU), Bhiwani, has secured a patent for an Internet of Things (IoT) -based billboard along with his team comprising Dr Sanjay Jha, Dr Archana Mitra, Dr Pratibha Patel, Abhay Kumar Singh, and Anoop Kumar. University Vice-Chancellor Prof Deepti Dharmani congratulated the team on this remarkable achievement, while emphasising on IoT potential for commercial use. Prof Ravi Prakash highlighted the revolutionary impact of this innovation on advertising and journalism, which offered adaptability, interactivity and analytics, to bridge traditional and digital media. Key features of the IoT include dynamic content delivery, audience detection, real-time news updates and sustainability, while transforming static displays into interactive, data-driven platforms.

NSS camps begins at Bajina school

Bhiwani: A seven-day NSS special camp has started at PM Shri Government Senior Secondary School, Bajina village, Bhiwani district. The event was inaugurated by Principal Anoop Singh Punia, NSS Programme Officer Sumer Singh and Sarpanch Sundari Devi. Volunteers were educated about the importance of the NSS during the camp. Sumer Singh apprised participants about the need for self-improvement to contribute effectively to society. Various cultural programmes were presented on the occasion with active participation of staff and volunteers.
