Campus notes: Conference at medical college

Panipat: Dr Mahender Singh along with Dr Swati Jarole, faculty in department of community medicines, NC Medical College at Israna in Panipat participated in the 27th annual North Zone Indian Association of Preventive and Social Medicines (IAPSM) Conference at ESIC Medical College and Hospital in Faridabad. Dr Mahender Singh chaired the scientific session in the oral paper presentation and was felicitated with memento and certificate for chairing the scientific session by the organisers. Dr Swati Jarole presented an oral paper and her research paper was adjudged the best paper by the scientific committee.

District-level inter-college quiz

Yamunanagar: The internal quality assurance cell (IQAC) of Guru Nanak Khalsa College in collaboration with the department of zoology and biotechnology, successfully organised a district-level inter-college quiz competition themed 'Empowering change: Advancing sustainable development goals' for a better future in which teams from various institutions, including MLN College, GNG College, GGSCP DAV College, and Government College. Chhachrauli, actively participated. The programme was inaugurated by Principal Dr Harinder Singh Kang. Team Meenu and Jagriti from Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Team Anushka and Anushka from MLN College, Team Khushi and Shagun from GNG College bagged first, second and third prize, respectively..
