Campus notes: Ex-DGP Visits Karnal International School

Karnal: Karnal International School organised a ceremony to felicitate its students from Classes VI to XI who secured top ranks in the Talent Search Examination. The examination, conducted by Genesis Classes, witnessed participation from approximately 22,000 students across the country. Many toppers are students of Karnal International School. The chief guest of the function was RC Mishra, former DGP of Haryana. Mishra presented awards to the achievers and delivered a motivational speech, encouraging students to pursue their dreams with determination and hard work. Krishan Kumar, President of Pehchan Society, also attended the event and gave away prizes to the meritorious students, praising their efforts and commitment to excellence. The chief guest exhorted students to pursue the path of academic excellence while staying grounded to our ancient wisdom and “sanskars”. Earlier on his arrival in the school, Mishra was accorded a ceremonial welcome by the cadets of the NDA wing of the school. The school’s chairman, Col Arun Datta and managing director of Genesis Classes Jitendra Ahlawat were also present on the occasion.

JMIT hosts two-day conference

Yamunanagar: A two-day international conference on science, engineering and management was organised under the aegis of the JMIT, Radaur. On this occasion, professor of Physics Sanjeev Agarwal was the special guest. He inaugurated the conference and gave a lecture on electron beam acceleration. In his inaugural address, he said, “The coordination of science, engineering and management not only promotes technological development but also helps in solving social problems.” Institute Director Sanjeev Kumar Garg enumerated the achievements of the institute in his address on this occasion. He described Industrial Revolution 4, Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning as the biggest need of students today. He congratulated the institute’s team, Avengers, for securing the first position in Smart India Hackathon in Suratkal and praised the winners. On the first day, Parveen Bazard from America highlighted the effect of electric current on cochlear implant. After this, Van Smith from the University of Toronto, Canada, presented his research in the domain of causes of autism. The second day started with Alexander Skolkov, Professor, Arkansas State University, USA, who delivered a lecture on GEMBA walk and machine learning. Vipin Mehta from Florida University addressed the audience on the use of artificial intelligence in medical science to serve the society.
