Yamunanagar: The training and employment cell of Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Yamunanagar, organised a placement-orientation workshop, aimed at preparing the final-year students of the undergraduate and postgraduate courses for the forthcoming placement activities. Rajinder Singh Vohra, coordinator of the cell, welcomed principal Harinder Singh Kang, IQAC coordinator Catherine Masih, training and placement officer Jitender Prashar and speakers Sanjay Arora, Kiranpal Singh Virk and Gian Bhushan. Sanjay Arora emphasised the importance of preparation and adaptability in the evolving job market. Kiranpal Singh Virk encouraged the students to remain proactive in seeking opportunities and gave insights on dressing sense and communication skills. Gian Bhushan advised the students to leverage their strengths and network effectively. Prashar highlighted the role of continuous learning in career advancement.

Training session for girl students

Mahendragarh: The training cell of the Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendragarh, organised a one-week training programme in collaboration with the Mahindra & Mahindra Group. The programme was specifically designed for girl students under the women empowerment cell. Vice-Chancellor Tankeshwar Kumar said the programme was aimed at bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements. Vikas Garg, the director of training cell, said female students from 10 departments participated in the programme. He said the programme was designed to help smooth transition of students from the classroom to the professional world.
