Karnal: To mark the 75th anniversary of Dyal Singh College, Karnal, the English Literary Society of the college organised a student seminar on the theme 'Representation of women in literature'. Dr Jyotsna Grewal, the president of the literary society, said Dr Ashima Gakhar, the college principal, emphasised the importance of gender equality and encouraged the students to engage in thorough research in the field of literature. The seminar featured presentations from five participants: Pranjal, Mansha, Simran, Harneet and Jyotsna, who presented research papers on various feminist texts.

Hindi Divas at RKSD College

Kaithal: Activities such as poetry recitation, debate, story writing and poster-making were organised by the department of hindi at RKSD College, Kaithal, on Hindi Divas. The head of the department of Hindi, Ramphal Maun, highlighted the importance of Hindi in Cinema, national and cultural development. The college principal, Sanjay Goyal, said Hindi could progress fast if it was linked to employment.
