Dadri MLA Suneel Sangwan today raised concerns regarding scarcity of canal water and healthcare services in the Assembly.

Sangwan pointed out that canals received very less amount of water, thus severely impacting crop irrigation.

Besides, he also stressed the need to improve healthcare services at the Civil Hospital, including provision of ultrasound machine and filling vacant posts of doctors.

Praising the Budget, he said Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini had initiated several development projects in Dadri. Sangwan said the long-pending demand for an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in Dadri had been approved by the government. The construction of a mini-secretariat has also been sanctioned in the Budget.

The MLA hoped that the healthcare services would also improve as there has been an announcement to upgrade the Civil Hospital.

Notably, Sangwan hogged the limelight in the Assembly when he accused former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda of nepotism in job recruitment during his tenure. He claimed that his father, former Minister Satpal Sangwan, who was associated with the Congress, had sought some favour for an unemployed youth, but Hooda denied help.
