Chaudhary Devi Lal University (CDLU), Sirsa, on Friday organised a one-day workshop on ‘Capacity Building and Mentoring for India’s National Education Policy (NEP) 2020’.
The programme, held at the Tagore Lecture Theatre with support from the Haryana Higher Education Council, aimed to promote the effective implementation of NEP-2020, enhance teaching quality and strengthen administrative efficiency in higher education. Dean Ram Mehar said the workshop, conducted under the guidance of Vice-Chancellor Vijay Kumar, sought to deepen understanding of the policy’s framework and objectives.
Haryana Higher Education Council Vice-Chairman SK Gakhar, the chief guest, said NEP-2020 encourages flexibility, research-oriented learning and new academic models. He stressed the need for continuous capacity-building initiatives to translate the policy into practice.
