Former Finance Minister and senior Congress leader Capt Ajay Yadav yesterday called on Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini at his residence in Chandigarh and apprised him of various problems being faced by people of Rewari district. Yadav sought adequate compensation to the affected farmers by announcing special girdawari to assess the losses. Farmers of many villages had suffered extensive losses due to the recent rains coupled with hailstorm, he added.
