Car runs over two youths

Two men carrying a flag to Shri Salasar Temple were hit by a car near Nezia village in the district. Both were critically injured and later died at the hospital. The Chopta police have registered a case against the unknown driver.

Amit Daga of Begu Road, Mohit from Agrasen Colony and Amit Sharma of Kanganpur Road set out from Sirsa with the flag around 9 pm on Friday. As they approached near Nezia around 10 pm, a car coming from the opposite direction hit Amit Daga and Mohit. The impact left both men severely injured. The injured were rushed to the hospital, where, Amit Daga and Mohit Gupta succumbed to their injuries.

A case has been filed against the unidentified driver. Today, the bodies were sent for post-mortem before being handed over to their families.
