Cases falling, but must be alert, says Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij

Chandigarh, June 6

Home, Urban Local Bodies and Health Minister Anil Vij has said that there has been a gradual decline in Covid cases in the second wave. But the people should remain cautious.

He said one should strictly adhere to the Covid-related guidelines to contain the spread of the virus. For this, the people of the state should ensure wearing of masks, maintaining social distancing and wash hands at regular intervals.

He said that in view of the pandemic, the state has made arrangements in hospitals due to which there is no shortage of oxygen, ventilators and beds in the hospitals of the state.

He added the people should be patient and work to break the chain of infection by adhering to the guidelines. Meanwhile, one shouldn’t pay heed to rumours. — TNS
