Celebrations at Bajekan village as Manjinder Singh Sirsa wins
There was an atmosphere of celebration in Manjinder Singh Sirsa’s ancestral village, Bajekan, following his victory in the Delhi elections. Rajendra Kang, the Sarpanch representative, congratulated Manjinder Singh, calling his win a matter of pride for the village. The celebrations included distribution of sweets and villagers dancing to the beat of drums, expressing their joy.
Kang praised Manjinder Singh for being not only a skilled politician but also a social worker dedicated to the community. Manjinder Singh won the Rajouri Garden Assembly seat in the Delhi elections by securing more than 18,000 votes. Kang said he had the opportunity to participate in Manjinder Singh’s election campaign, further adding to the pride felt by the village. As soon as the news of Manjinder Singh’s victory reached Bajekan on Saturday afternoon, villagers gathered in large numbers at the village Panchayat. The celebrations began with dance, music, and sharing of sweets among the villagers.
Kang said Manjinder Singh’s win was significant for Bajekan, as he had contributed greatly to the development of the village. Manjinder Singh, deeply connected to his ancestral roots, had played a key role in improving the village, making his success even more special to the people of Bajekan.
