Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal today presided over the second meeting of the state-level committee constituted to implement the inter-operable criminal justice system (ICJS) in the state.

He directed the officials concerned to explore the possibilities of developing a system with the latest technologies, under which the data of districts recorded by the police would be integrated under one roof.

The Chief Secretary also lauded the Police Department for being at the first position in the country under the crime and criminals tracking network systems. —TNS
