Child killed, 3 injured as slab of chaupal falls on them in Yamunanagar
A child was killed and three were injured when a slab of a chaupal fell on four children at Buria town in this district on Friday evening.
The deceased has been identified as Amaan (7).
Subaan (8), Suphiyan (9) and Nohish (8) sustained injuries and have been admitted to Trauma Centre of Mukand Lal District Civil Hospital, Yamunanagar.
Narsingh, SHO of Buria police station, said some children were playing at a chaupal.
He said that the chaupal was old and a slab fell on the children at about 7.30 pm.
He said Amaan, Subaan, Suphiyan and Nohish sustained injuries and were rushed to the Mukand Lal District Civil Hospital, where Amaan was declared dead.
He said the post-mortem would be held on Saturday.
