Child killed, three others injured in Buria mishap
One child was killed while three others were injured after a slab (chhajja) of a private chaupal fell on them in Buria town on Friday evening.
The deceased has been identified as Amaan (7). However, Subaan (8), Suphiyan (9) and Nohish (8) sustained injuries, following which they were admitted to Trauma Centre of Mukand Lal District Civil Hospital in Yamunanagar.
Buria police station SHO Narsingh said some children were playing at the chaupal in Buria town. He said since it was old, its slab suddenly fell on them around 7.30 pm.
He said Amaan’s body of Amaan was kept at mortuary for the post-mortem examination, which would be carried out on Saturday.
