Civic body completes installation of decorative lights on 3 Yamunanagar roads

Under the Divya Nagar Yojana, the Yamunanagar-Jagadhri Municipal Corporation has been working on the beautification of three roads in the twin cities of Yamunanagar and Jagadhri at a cost of Rs 7.19 crore.

After Gymkhana Club Road and Govindpuri Road, the work of installing decorative lights has been completed on Workshop Road. The work of removing old streetlights from these roads is under way.

After the removal, the old streetlights will be installed at other places in the twin cities.

Municipal Commissioner Ayush Sinha said the work of constructing footpaths and boundary walls of trees, laying tiles and improving dividers on Gymkhana Club Road was in progress.

Sinha has appealed to the general public to cooperate in making the twin cities clean and beautiful.
