Civic body polls: Nodal officers appointed

Deputy Commissioner Dhirendra Khadgata has appointed a team of nodal officers to oversee the smooth execution of various activities related to the upcoming civic body elections. These officers have been entrusted with critical responsibilities, including manpower management, computerization, IT and SMS monitoring, training coordination, and helpline management.

They will also handle the toll-free number 1950, citizen grievance redressal, control room operations, poll material management, transport logistics, cyber security and the maintenance of law and order. Additionally, they will be tasked with ensuring the deployment of CRPF personnel, security management, EVM handling and strict compliance with the Model Code of Conduct.
