Civil Surgeon Dr Jaimala found lack of cleanliness and record-keeping during a surprise inspection at the Civil Hospital in Bahadurgarh on Saturday night to assess its functioning.

She directed doctors and other staff to ensure proper cleanliness in the hospital and proper maintenance of equipment and records. She instructed them to address the issues and submit a report to her office in a couple of days.

“All officials and staff in the district will be issued necessary instructions to ensure better health services and timely attendance. Such surprise inspections will continue in the future, and officials or staff found guilty will face action,” said Dr Jaimala.

The Civil Surgeon, along with Deputy Civil Surgeon Dr Sandeep Guran, thoroughly checked the hospital and also enquired about the well-being of patients, who expressed their satisfaction. “Since many nursing officials have recently joined the service, we are planning to launch a programme to upgrade their skills,” she said.
