According to the police, the victim is a student of a government school who had befriended the two accused, identified as Lakshya and Ankit, on the social media platform approximately two months ago.

According to the complaint filed by the victim’s father on Tuesday evening, she went to tuition at 4.30 pm but did not return even after 6.30 pm. When he reached the tuition centre, he learned that she had not arrived. Subsequently, they began searching for her.

“Around 8pm, she reached home in a terrible condition and was crying badly. On asking, she revealed that when she was on her way to the tuition centre, the youths came in the middle of the road in a black car. They took her in the car on the pretext of dropping her off at the tuition centre, even though she repeatedly refused," the father said in his complaint.

As per the complaint, the accused then drove her to a secluded area in the hills, where they raped her. “After this, they threw her from their moving car near my home and fled away,” the father said.
