The kidnapped student has been identified as Sarfaraz (17), a native of Kaba Ka Bas village in Rajasthan. He had been living with his maternal uncle Manzoor, a resident of Ward 1, Ferozepur Jhirka, since childhood.

At the school, he was told that Sarfaraz had already gone home.

When he then asked people at the Jhir Road, they told him that some men were going towards the town in a white-coloured Bolero with a child. When onlookers asked the miscreants, they claimed that they were from the CIA. However, when the complainant inquired with the CIA, they refuted these claims.

Following the complaint, an FIR was registered against unidentified accused under Section 140(3) of the BNS at the Ferozepur Jhirka police station on Thursday.

“We haven’t got any clue in the case so far, but our teams are on the job. We hope that the entire picture will be cleared soon,” said Inspector Aman Yadav, SHO of the Ferozepur Jhirka police station.
