Sirsa, August 14

Clerical staff in Haryana, who began a warning strike from August 12 to August 14, have decided to extend their strike till August 20. The strike is in response to their demand for better pay. On Wednesday, clerks held a protest outside the mini-secretariat in Sirsa, led by Sukhwinder Kaur.

Various union leaders, including Krishna Roz and Satveer, of Haryana Group D Vikas Sangharsh Committee, joined the protest. Leaders of various unions such as Gurdeep Saini and Mohan Gupta showed their support.
