A massive fire broke out in a truck filled with peas near Alipur village on the Gurugram-Sohna road on Thursday. The driver and operator of the truck jumped off the vehicle while it was fully gutted in the fire.

After receiving information about the mishap, two fire brigade vehicles from Sohna reached the spot and the personnel brought the flames under control. Short circuit is being said to be the cause behind the fire. The truck was on the way from Ratlam to Delhi Azadpur mandi. The incident took place around 9.30 pm, when the vehicle, being driven by Khalid, reached near Alipur and caught fire.

Khalid and Irshad, who jumped off the truck, suffered minor injuries, the police said.
