On the occasion, the CM paid obeisance to Guru Tegh Bahadur and said the Guru stood for the protection of humanity and religious freedom.
He said all Sikh Gurus had taught lessons of service, equality, and courage. The sacred land of Haryana had had a deep association with all the Gurus. Wherever they visited, gurdwaras had been established in their memory at over 30 locations. Inspired by the Sikh tradition, the government was working with a spirit of service for the welfare of all communities, he added.
