Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini today inaugurated a state-level exhibition and said that the exhibition showcases Haryana’s plan of becoming a developed state by 2047.
The exhibition is set up by the Information, Public Relations and Languages Department at the International Gita Mahotsav-2025 at Brahma Sarovar.
The Chief Minister said that the display of the Gita, written in 35 languages from various countries, is also a noteworthy and commendable effort. This exhibition showcases Haryana's progress, future plans, teachings from the Gita, the history of Kurukshetra's major pilgrimage sites and highlights from the Mahabharata displayed on a large curved LED screen, all under one roof.
After inaugurating the exhibition, Saini inspected 25 stalls set up by various departments showcasing their achievements and future plans. The Chief Minister took feedback on the plans of each department.
The Chief Minister said that Haryana, with its glorious history, is a shining example of a developmental approach. While the birthplace of the Gita is spreading the light of knowledge throughout the world, the Haryana Government's developmental achievements are giving Haryana an unparalleled recognition among the leading states of the country.
Director of the Shaheed Smarak, Dr Kuldeep Saini, briefed Saini on the state's history and other developmental initiatives at the exhibition, which showcases Haryana's changing developmental aspects over the past 11 years.
On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Vishram Kumar Meena, Superintendent of Police Nitish Agarwal, BJP district president Tejinder Singh Goldy and several other officials and BJP leaders were present.
