CM releases Rs 5-cr aid each to Punjab, J&K

The Haryana Government has released Rs 5 crore each to Punjab and J&K from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. In a letter to Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann and J&K CM Omar Abdullah, CM Nayab Singh Saini said in this difficult hour, the state government and the people of Haryana stood firmly with the affected states.

The Haryana Government has released Rs 5 crore each to Punjab and J&K from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. He said due to the heavy rainfall and flooding, ordinary people were facing severe difficulties, and in such a situation, it was the duty of the Haryana Government to act as a supportive neighbour and friend.

Saini also assured that the government was prepared to provide all possible support to ensure timely and adequate assistance to the affected people. He urged the Chief Ministers of both states to freely communicate any requirement for additional relief materials or assistance, assuring that the Haryana Government will extend the necessary help immediately.
