Launching a blistering attack on the Congress, Haryana chief minister Nayab Singh Saini on Sunday accused the party leaders of misleading people over the ‘Agniveer’ scheme. He claimed that every Agniveer would be given jobs in the state and interest-free loans if they want to do business.

CM Saini was addressing a poll meeting in Rohtak on Sunday in support of BJP candidate and former minister Manish Kumar Grover.

He also slammed the Congress for statements of its leaders over government jobs.

“The Congress leaders had made their intention clear before the assembly polls by making statements publicly that government jobs would be given on the basis of parchi (slip) if the party comes to power. The Congress has got trapped in its own web over the job issue. Its leaders have sold the future of youth even before coming to power. They are openly saying that writing roll numbers on a slip is sufficient to get jobs in the Congress regime.

Moreover, they are talking about fixing their job quota. It is clear now that the Congress has prepared a complete plan to sell jobs,” the chief minister said.
