CM Saini launches revenue department initiatives, including paperless registry

The minister claims the initiative will ‘end corrupt practices in the revenue department’

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Monday launched the Revenue Department’s latest initiatives including paperless registry, a demarcation portal, WhatsApp chatbot Bhu-mitra and a court case management system pilot project.

The CM launched the projects from Babain. He monitored the process of issuing paperless registry on the occasion while revenue department officials apprised him about the new initiatives. While addressing the gathering, CM Saini said a new chapter is being written in the revenue department’s history.

He said “Paperless registry has started today and it will end corrupt practices in the revenue department. Similarly, the demarcation portal will provide relief and resolve land related issues. All the facilities will be a huge relief to the citizens, and ensure transparency.”

The CM said that the government is committed to providing hassle-free services to the people of Haryana. The applicants will be able to track their files easily, without having to make repeat rounds to the government departments. The CM called upon citizens to use the new system and also asked the revenue department officials to ensure smooth implementation of the new initiatives.
