Haryana CM Nayab Saini lays foundation stone for Rs 206-cr projects in Narwana

Roads, healthcare, water, power schemes to transform constituency

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Sunday gave a major push to development in Narwana Assembly constituency of Jind district by laying the foundation stone of 19 projects worth over Rs 206.32 crore. While inaugurating seven projects costing Rs 37.25 crore, the Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone of 12 works worth Rs 169.07 crore, aimed at improving road connectivity, healthcare, water supply and power infrastructure in the region.

Among the works dedicated to the public were the widening and strengthening of the Dharodhi-Narwana-Ismailpur link road, the Dablain-Sachha Khera road, and the construction of a railway overbridge on Narwana-Samain road at a cost of Rs 25 crore. The CM also inaugurated projects such as raw water arrangement and renovation of water works in Ismailpur, canal-based water works in Bidrana, pavement of the village Firni in Sulhera, and a Sub-Health Centre at Bhana Barhman.

Foundation stones were laid for several major initiatives, including the widening and strengthening of the Khanpur-Ismailpur link road, construction of a new road from Karamgarh to Loan, special repair of 15 roads covering more than 42 km, and an additional PWD B&R Rest House in Narwana. The CM also announced new boosting stations, augmentation of water supply schemes in Dharodi and Belarkha, independent canal-based water works in Garhi, and a 33 KV Sub-Station at Badanpur.

Significant allocations were made for strengthening healthcare and civic facilities with Rs 67.07 crore earmarked for water supply and sewerage works in Ujhana village and nearly Rs 42 crore for two new Community Health Centres at Ujhana and Danoda.

“These projects reflect our government’s commitment to balanced development across all constituencies. Narwana will now see faster growth with better healthcare, water supply and connectivity,” Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said after inaugurating the works.
