CM Saini takes holy dip at Triveni Sangam
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, accompanied by his wife Suman Saini, took a holy dip in the Triveni Sangam at Arail Pakka Ghat during the ongoing Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj. He also performed a special puja and witnessed the grand confluence of spirituality and Sanatan traditions at the sacred event.
Speaking about the significance of Kumbh Mela, the Chief Minister said, “Kumbh holds a special place in Indian culture. Every Sanatani wishes to take a holy dip in the Sangam during this sacred occasion. According to the scriptures, bathing at the Kumbh grants salvation, which is why great sages and saints from across the country gather here.”
Elaborating on the spiritual essence of Triveni Sangam, he said, “This is the divine confluence of Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati. Witnessing this sacred union on Indian soil is a truly spectacular experience. The Maha Kumbh bath is a great, divine and wonderful event in Teerthraj Prayag.”
To ensure elderly devotees from Haryana can participate in the Maha Kumbh, CM Saini announced that the Chief Minister’s Teerth Darshan Yojana has been expanded to include Prayagraj. He said, “Special buses from every district of Haryana are being arranged to bring devotees to Prayagraj for the holy bath.”
Accompanying the Chief Minister were BJP state president Mohan Lal Badoli and other dignitaries.
