CM Saini vows broader access to surgery facilities

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, while addressing the 12th Annual Conference of the All India Surgeons’ Association on Sunday, said innovation in the medical field and the adoption of modern techniques would be instrumental in delivering healthcare to all sections of society.
“Doctors are often called ‘God on Earth’ and this title is well-deserved considering their efforts and dedication. It is their experience, empathy and humanity that make them truly special,” said Saini. “In today’s era, where challenges are growing across sectors, doctors remain unwavering in their ethical commitment while continuing to serve the people.”
He praised the legacy of Indian medical science, noting it as a gift from historical figures such as Dhanvantri, Charak and Sushrut. “Modern surgeons are honouring this rich tradition. With advancements in medical science, technologies such as robotic surgery, laparoscopic methods, 3D printing and artificial intelligence are revolutionising surgical procedures,” he said.
The CM highlighted the state government’s commitment to embracing such cutting-edge technologies. “Our goal is to ensure every citizen, whether in urban or rural areas, has access to these advanced medical facilities,” he added.
