CM to address rally in Kosli on Dec 25

Will also lay, inaugurate several development projects and thank public for BJP’s win

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will address a rally at the Grain Market in Kosli here on December 25 to thank the people for ensuring the BJP's victory consecutively for the third time in the Assembly elections. Union Minister Rao Inderjit and several other BJP leaders will also be present there.

On the occasion, he will inaugurate the newly constructed building of the Excise and Taxation Department at Sector 19 in Rewari and other development projects besides laying the foundation stone of some other projects there.

The district administration has started preparations for the rally of the CM by holding a meeting of officials here on Monday.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Abhishek Meena instructed the officials to ensure that all necessary preparations related to the projects to be inaugurated and laying the foundation stone of development projects were completed before time.

“Officials of departments concerned have been directed to make all arrangements for security, uninterrupted power supply, barricading at possible places, parking of vehicles and proper arrangements for seating and toilets for the general public, VVIP, VIP and general public. They have also been directed to see that ambulance and fire brigade are in place for the event,” he said.

Rewari SP Gaurav Rajpurohit, ADC Anupama Anjali, SDM (Rewari) Surendra Singh, SDM (Kosli) Vijay Yadav, SDM (Bawal) Uday Singh, CTM Preeti Rawat and other officials concerned were present at the meeting.

Meanwhile, BJP district president Vandana Popli said preparations for the rally were in full swing and the responsibility had also been assigned to the party workers.

“Good Governance Day programme will also be celebrated on the same day to mark the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The preparations for which are also going on in full swing,” she added.

As per information, Revenue, Disaster Management, Urban Local Bodies and Civil Aviation Minister Vipul Goyal will be there as the chief guest and will attend the programme to be held at Bal Bhavan here. On the occasion, officilasrs and employees doing commendable work will also be honoured.

“A district-level committee has been formed to celebrate Good Governance Day. Officials and employees doing excellent work related to good governance will be honoured on the occasion. This includes cash prizes and trophies. The first prize will be of Rs 31,000, the second prize Rs 21,000 and the third prize be of Rs 11,000,” said an administrative official.
