Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini laid foundation stones and inaugurated 78 development projects worth Rs 363.96 crore through virtual medium on Tuesday.
Among them, 34 projects are of the PWD (B&R), 26 of the Irrigation Department, five each of the Public Health Engineering Department, Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam and Sarva Shiksha, two projects of the Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP), and one project is of the Department of Sports. A total of 47 projects worth Rs 192 crore were inaugurated and the foundation stone of projects worth Rs 171 crore has been laid.
The programme was organised at the mini-secretariat here. Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commission Capt Shakti Singh said the CM had inaugurated and laid foundation stones of the highest number of development projects in Jhajjar district in the state, which clearly showed the commitment of the state government towards the development and uplift of this district.
“The projects whose foundation stone has been laid should be completed as soon as possible. Special attention should be paid to the quality of the construction works of these projects,” he added.
