Karnal MLA Jagmohan Anand has emphasised the need for collective efforts to eliminate the menace of drug addiction from society. He was speaking at the flagging-off ceremony of the Cyclothon for Yamunanagar at Maharaja Agrasen Chowk. This yatra is touring the state with an aim to make Haryana free of drugs.

“Eradicating drugs from society is the need of the hour, but it cannot be achieved by the government alone. Every person must take collective responsibility and actively participate in this fight,” said the MLA. He honoured two persons for not only giving up drugs, but are now inspiring others to do the same.

Anand said that former Chief Minister and Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar had taken significant steps to raise awareness against drug abuse, and now CM Nayab Saini is continuing the efforts with equal commitment.
