College student raped

A case of a 19-year-old BA-I student from Naraingarh being drugged, raped, abused with casteist remarks and threatened with dire consequences was reported here on Wednesday.
The accused, a 20-year-old disco jockey, was arrested, said Naraingarh women police station SHO Sheela Wanti. He was sent to 14-day judicial remand by a local court.
The victim reported that the accused drugged and raped her in Munna Majra village near Naraingarh on October 31. When she regained consciousness, he abused her using casteist remarks and threatened her with dire consequences if she reported the matter.
The victim told her family members, who took her to the women police station. A case was registered under relevant sections of the IPC and SC/ST Act.
