Rohtak, August 27
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has said that the Congress government had exploited the youth while the BJP government gave them opportunities.
“Nepotism prevailed during the Congress rule. An ordinary party worker like me has become Chief Minister, which is possible only in a BJP government,” Saini said while addressing the gathering at a youth membership drive organised by the Bharatiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM) at the party’s state headquarters in Rohtak on Tuesday.
BJYM president and MP Tejasvi Surya said that in the BJP, even a booth-level worker could become the party’s national president.
Meanwhile, a meeting of the BJP’s election management committee was held here. BJP state president Mohan Lal Badoli presided over the meeting, which was attended by party’s Haryana in-charge Satish Punia and state general secretary Archana Gupta. The leaders reviewed the preparations being made for the upcoming elections and took feedback from the party workers.
